Fixit AG has made a commitment to the Swiss government to continuously reduce CO2 emissions as early as 2008 and to operate the quarries in a sustainable manner. The renaturation of the Ennetmoos gypsum quarry is an outstanding example of successful recultivation and landscape protection.

Use of renewable energies

In addition to the use of climate-friendly vehicles and machines, the company's own electricity generation by means of photovoltaics is already a top priority: at more than 10 locations in Europe, a large part of the electricity demand is thus covered by renewable energies. One of the largest systems was installed at the Bex plant in Switzerland.
